About

Dental care that explains itself first: what we found, what your options are and what each one costs.

At Wells Street Dental, six general dentists see families, students and older adults. Every visit starts with an exam and a plain explanation.

From check-ups to fillings, crowns and aligners, your dentist tells you what they found and what you can do about it before anything starts. You decide, and you can ask for a written estimate first.

Our Process

How We Work

From your first call to your follow-up, you hear what is happening and what comes next.

  1. A man in a patterned shirt and a bearded man in white look at a smile photo on a monitor
    01

    Book a visit

Reserve online or by phone. Tell us if it is a check-up, a question about cost or something that hurts.

  2. Gloved hands holding a tablet showing a panoramic dental X-ray
    02

    Exam and X-rays

Your dentist examines your teeth and gums, takes X-rays when they decide you need them and talks through what they found.

  3. A treatment room with a panoramic X-ray on a monitor above the dental chair
    03

    A plan in writing

You get your options, the order of the work and a written estimate. You decide what to do, and when.

  4. A dentist in a pink mask and blue gloves holds instruments, seen from the patient's chair
    04

    Treatment and after-care

Your dentist works at your pace and explains after-care before you leave. Call us if something does not feel right.

Good to know

Plain answers, at your pace

Two things we do at every visit, whatever you come in for.

  • A plan in writing

Your dentist lists the treatment, the visits it takes and what it will cost before you decide.

  • A relaxed pace

Nervous about the dentist? Tell us when you book. We go slowly and stop when you ask.

Common questions

Before your first visit.

01What treatments do you provide?

Check-ups and cleanings, fillings and crowns, cosmetic care, braces and aligners, extractions, root canals and children’s visits. All of our dentists are general dentists.

02How often should I have a check-up?

Many patients come every six months. Your dentist decides how often you need an exam, X-rays and a cleaning, and tells you why.

03Will it hurt?

We numb the area first, and most people feel pressure rather than pain. Tell us if anything hurts and we stop, and tell us when you book if you are nervous.

04How do I choose the right treatment?

At your exam your dentist goes through what they found and the options, including waiting. You get a plan in writing and decide at your own pace.

05What should I know before a cosmetic treatment?

Your dentist examines your teeth first, then explains the options, the risks and the upkeep. Results vary, and whitening and bonding may need touch-ups.

06Do you take my insurance?

It depends on your plan, so call us with your plan details and we check your benefits before your visit. If you pay yourself, you can ask for a written estimate in advance.
